If you already have a season ticket and it is about to expire, it usually makes more sense to extend your season ticket than to buy a new one. Here we explain why:

If you already have a season ticket and regularly park your bike in a ParkYourBike facility, you should remember to extend your season ticket before it expires. No matter what type of season ticket you have, you can extend it with both a monthly and an annual ticket. This ensures that bikes you have parked are not transferred to the Flex tariff.

The reason for this is that our system assigns a season ticket to each parking process at the start of the process. Season tickets cannot be subsequently assigned to parking processes that are running. In this case, the Flex tariff applies, i.e. the first 24 hours are free of charge, after which EUR 0.70 is charged for each additional 24 hours. The costs incurred under the Flex tariff will be added to your ParkYourBike profile after you collect your bike and charged at the end of the month.

If you extend your season ticket, the allocation to your current parking process remains in place and you no longer have to worry about further costs for the duration of the (extended) validity. You pay the price for your respective season ticket (monthly or annual ticket) in advance and can then park at any time within this period.

In your ParkYourBike app, you can find your season ticket at any time under ‘Bookings’ and see how long it is still valid. You can also extend the card there. Your existing season ticket remains valid until the last day. As soon as your current season ticket expires, your extended season ticket will be activated automatically. So simply extend your season ticket and start parking!
