Since the beginning of May, ParkYourBike has no longer been running in pilot phase free of charge but uses a tariff model based on the Netherlands. The first 24 hours of parking are free of charge.
Once the free pilot phase has ended on 30 April 2023, a new tariff model applies for ParkYourBike. The focus is on fairness and simplicity. The model is therefore based on tariff options and prices that are also used in the Netherlands. Such a tariff model is unique in Germany. During development, infraVelo compared many German and international tariff models for bicycle parking and worked out the key points of the model together with the Senate Department for the Environment, Mobility, Consumer and Climate Protection.
Suitable tariff options for everyone
With the "Flex tariff", you can park your bike free of charge for up to 24 hours. After that, you will be charged 0.70 € for a further 24 hours. This tariff is particularly suitable for commuters or spontaneous parking. However, if you use our service more frequently, a season ticket is a good option. A monthly ticket costs 7.00 €, an annual ticket is available for 70.00 €. If you park with a season ticket, there are no further costs for parking during the selected validity period. Season tickets can be purchased directly in the app. After purchase, they are added to your account and are available at the terminal at the start of the parking process. Season tickets cannot be purchased at the facilities themselves. If a season ticket expires during a parking session, the "Flex tariff" comes into effect. Before the purchased season ticket loses its validity, it can be extended with just a few clicks.
Easy payment
The rule for payment is everything in one place and as easy as possible! The flex tariff or season ticket is billed via the ParkYourBike app on your smartphone and the payment method you have stored there. The Flex tariff is billed at the end of the month, while season tickets are billed directly at the time of purchase.
