Starting tomorrow, bike parking at Potsdam Central Station will become even more convenient: Radstation Pedales Potsdam, the managed bike parking facility with over 550 slots—including areas for special bikes—is switching its access system to the ParkYourBike digital solution.
Until now, access to the bike station was via a paper-based ticket system with payment at a machine. That is now a thing of the past: in future, all ticket types – from annual passes to monthly and daily tickets to the first free hour – can be conveniently booked via the ParkYourBike app. The new system not only offers greater convenience, but also significantly reduces the likelihood of errors in access. Another advantage is that the app allows cyclists to park not only in Potsdam, but also at many other locations in Berlin and Brandenburg – easily and digitally.
Special offers for the transition
There is a fair solution for all current monthly and annual ticket holders: the remaining balance on their existing ticket will be issued by staff in the service area as a voucher code for ParkYourBike, which can be redeemed when purchasing a new ticket via the app.
During the two-day remodeling phase at the end of October, access to the bike station will be free of charge – a small thank you for your patience during the remodeling.
With the integration of ParkYourBike, the Potsdam bike station will become part of a modern, networked bike parking system that will make everyday life easier for cyclists in the region in the long term.
